Digital wallet for transfers, payments and multi-currency money management, with virtual, prepaid and credit cards.

A MyMonty pilot launched in Europe at the start of 2022, followed by the wider rollout of Monty Finance's fintech products across Europe and the Middle East. Built out of Beirut, the digital wallet marked a move into financial services designed around markets where access, trust and convenience could not be taken for granted.

MyMonty represents Mountasser Hachem's bet that a telecom-first group can build a more trustworthy consumer bank than a bank itself - by owning every layer from the network up.

The MyMonty app compresses a handful of previously separate financial products into one surface, tuned for the way people actually live in 2026.

Banking had become a layer of friction between people and their own money.

With MyMonty I wanted to build the opposite - a digital wallet that treats every user as a cross-border citizen by default, and that rests on infrastructure we own ourselves rather than rent from someone else.
